Pokemon War of Worlds #2 Obligation and Moonlight

-The Halberd lands in the ocean near Beach Cave.  

MK- Roy and N, you and your Pokemon stay on the ship. I'm not sure how they will react to humans.

Roy- Sure thing.

N- Ok.

MK- All Meta Knights continue repairs to the ship. I want it running at 100% capacity by nightfall.

Meta Knights- Yes sir!

-MK travels up to the Guild.

Moonatone- He's acting... different.

Roy- Didn't you see that determination in his eyes?

Moonatone- What are you talking about?

Mag- You really don't see it?

Flaredash- You and Star have known him the longest in this world right?

N- Although he isn't a Pokemon... I'm starting to see his true heart...

Moonatone- What do you mean by that N?

N- He seems to have some sort of obligation to this world now. He feels that he must protect it. Although I still don't see a reason for that yet.

Roy- I think I may know. I've only known him a few days now but I think he feels like he needs to protect us. Like he doesn't want to lose us...

N- I think you may be on to something. Your name was Sword correct?

Blade- No he's Sword. I'm Blade.

N- Actually it would be better to ask both of you. Meta Knight told me something earlier... He said something about letting his comrades die.

Blade- That's actually a touchy subject...

Sword- You see in our world there was once a very evil ruler that conquered worlds and created monsters who was named Nightmare. Meta Knight was a Star Warrior in the Galaxy Soldier Army that fought against Nightmare. However... they were defeated... Meta Knight was one of the few to survive. Nightmare also basically forced Meta Knight to kill his best friend... Meta Knight has lost too much already. Losing more of his friends may break him... That's why he dedicated himself to becoming the greatest warrior in the galaxy... and he succeeded. I believe that is why he feels like he must protect Dream World and your world. Dream World is known for its peaceful ways and its thanks to Meta Knight and Kirby that we maintain that peace... It's funny now... when we thought that peace was bad.

N-...

-MK goes to the Guildmaster and gives him a summary of all that has happened and tells him about Darkrai.

MK- So what is your standing on this problem? No matter what I plan to face Darkrai with or without you.

Wigglytuff-...

MK-... (did he fall asleep again?)

Chatot- Umm Guildmaster?... Sorry he must have fallen asleep again...

Wigglytuff- No... It's not that... It's just a lot to take in.

MK- So what do you want to do?

Wigglytuff- I'm not sure. Please give me some time to thing about it.

MK- Of course.

-MK walks back to the Halberd and sees that its getting late. He orders his crew to get some rest and provides rooms for N, Roy, and the Pokemon. Later that night MK goes to the ship's deck to find Moonatone.

MK- Can't sleep?

Moonatone- Yeah. I've been thinking about Star.

MK- Me to.

Moonatone- However there's something else that's bothering me...

MK- What's that?

Moonatone- You see Lunatone are known as the meteorite Pokemon. However we draw power from the moon and we become our strongest at night in the moonlight.

MK- And?

Moonatone- I... don't feel anything...

MK- What does that mean?

Moonatone- That something is wrong with the moon. In fact the reason that I'm worried about Star more is because the stars seem to be different...

MK- Wait are you saying...

Moonatone- Yeah... The distortions have reached beyond our planet...
